Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 20, 2026

1. Introduction

NetAudit AI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at anmolhatua.store (the "Site") and use our AI-powered network security scanning service (the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the Service:

  • Scan Targets: IP addresses, hostnames, or CIDR ranges you submit for scanning. These are processed ephemerally and are not stored after the scan completes.
  • Scan Results: Port scan data, service fingerprints, HTTP header analysis, and AI-generated remediation plans. These results are displayed in your browser session only and are not persisted on our servers.
  • Usage Data: Anonymous analytics data (page views, feature usage) collected via our hosting provider to improve the Service. This does not include scan targets or results.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To execute the network scan you request against the target you specify
  • To generate AI-powered vulnerability analysis and remediation recommendations
  • To improve the Service based on anonymous usage patterns
  • To respond to your inquiries or support requests

4. Data Storage and Retention

Scan targets and results are not stored on our servers. They exist only in memory during the scan execution and are discarded immediately after the response is sent to your browser. We do not log, cache, or persist any scan-related data.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Site and Service:
  • Vercel — hosting and CDN for the frontend application. Vercel's privacy policy applies to page request logs (IP addresses, user agents, referrer URLs).
  • Railway — hosting for the backend API and Nmap scanning engine. Scan targets and results pass through Railway's infrastructure but are not stored.
  • Groq — AI inference provider for vulnerability analysis. Scan results may be transmitted to Groq for LLM processing; no identifying information is sent.
  • Cloudflare — DNS and proxying services. Cloudflare may process connection metadata per their privacy policy.

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies and local storage solely for functional purposes:
  • Theme preference (localStorage) — remembers your dark/light mode selection
  • Essential cookies — required for the Site to function (session management)
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:
  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • API rate limiting to prevent abuse
  • Input sanitization and validation to prevent injection attacks
  • Ephemeral processing — no scan data stored on disk

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
  • Access information we hold about you (note: we hold minimal data)
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of data collection (stop using the Service)
Since we do not store scan data or personal information beyond what is necessary for basic website operation, most of these rights are inherently fulfilled.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
